Looking for a LARGE framed Hybrid

Hi Everybody!

Longtime reader, first time poster.
Me: 6'3" with a 36" inseam
95% of my biking will be on hard packed limestone trails for recreation/fitness(30-50 mile rides). I like the flat-bar hybrid style as opposed to the upright style of some comfort bikes. I test rode a Trek 7.2FX with a 25" frame and it felt nice. I have plenty of stand over clearance on it and I don't have to jack the seat up way above the handlebars to get proper leg extension. My question is: Does anyone else offer hybrids in this size category? I have test ridden a Jamis Coda, Fuji Absolute, and Giant Escape, but the largest they all offered were 23" frames. While I can raise their seats for proper leg extension, I do notice that the seats become a bit high relative to the handlebars putting more weight on my hands.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm 6'1" and I ended with a large frame on my Raleigh Misceo Trail. It's a 23" and they had a 25" X Large that was just a tad bit too tall for me. You may want to check them out.

I'm 6'3" w/ 34" inseam. I'm on a Cannondale Quick 6 w/Jumbo frame and it fits like a glove.

Definitely pay attention to the Miseco recommendation, those frames are a little longer than other hybrids in the same size range. That might work in your favor.

Are you looking for complete bike or just the frame only ? I have a friend who wants to sell off a mint condition Cannondale T1 touring bike frame in Large size. Selling the Frame, fork, threadless headset, stem and seatpost. The bike can use 700 x 40 tyres and have canti or v-brake mounts. The fork and frame have eyelets for mounting racks.

A belated thank you to everyone

A belated thank you to everyone for their input.

My biggest difficulty was finding a shop that had large frame sizes in stock for a test ride. Of three LBS that sold Cannondale's, non had x-large frames. My local Trek dealer did have a 25" FX 7.2 in stock that I ended up purchasing. The bike fit very well and I've been enjoying it for the past 7 years. Thanks again all for your input!
