Help with choosing a hybrid !

Between the following:

http://www.wiggle.com/felt-qx80d-2013/
http://www.wiggle.com/felt-qx100-2013/ Is the extra money worth it?

I know I probably don't need the suspension as I spend most of my time on tarmac but they do have lockout so I guess it can't hurt?

and the Whyte Cambridge

Welcome to the Forums :)

Having looked over your candidates, my own personal preference would be the Whyte as the top choice, followed by that Hoy at Evans. Two main reasons are the rigid forks and the rear disc brakes mount to the chain stay instead of the seat stay (makes it easier to mount a luggage carrier).

I don't think I'll put a luggage carrier on, maybe just some mudguards.

My choice is different the best hybrid rode was http://www.evanscycles.com/products/...-bike-ec042535 or the sport version I would recommend that you don't go for anything with disc brakes they add to the misery of maintenance I found the more I rode the lighter you want the bike and that is faster. If I could afford it I would have bought the carbon version is so nice.
