Recommendation for new seat post

I finally figured out what was bothering me about my Trek FX 7.2 - the 74 degree seat post angle. I have long legs, especially in the femur...with the seat raised 7 inches and all the way back, my knee is still too far forward. I have some things to correct in the reach, too, with a new stem, but think I need a new seat post so I can move my seat further back so I'm in a better alignment with the pedals and more of my weight is back rather than bearing down on and over the handlebars.

I've never shopped for a seat post before. Any recommendations for one that will play nicely with the FX and allow me to move my seat back about an inch? Thanks.

I am thinking about a new seatpost also, preferably carbon. What is the seatpost size on Trek FX bikes? 27.2 x ??

A Velo Orange Grand Cru(about 30 mm offset) is probably about as good as you can do without getting pretty expensive. It only comes in a 300 mm length, so you'd want to make sure it's long enough for you.

Thank you Miss Daisy! Problem is that I am not sure where to get OEM parts. I think Bontrager differentiates from their OEM and "retail" parts.
