Shoes/Cleats and walking.....

Hey folks

I just got my 1st pair of cycling shoes, I'm lovin it.....

I do have a couple of questions, I cannot find answer on google.

When I walk with the said shoes, I can hear the metal get squish by the concrete, which clearly dont feel righ., However, I specificly bought ''touring'' shoes so I could go grab grocery, walk the bridge etc....

Is this something normal?

Ive got shimano MD76 - Shimano M076 SPD shoe review - BikeRadar

It'll go away, or you will be less cognizant about it

It is normal. Like said above, you will eventually forget about it or they will wear down a little and not do it so much.
