2015 Sirrus Carbon Bikes

Today for the 1st time sat on the 2015 Sirrus Expert Disc. I know some of you here have this bike and I am in no way dissing you bike, this is MHO. Just that I have no idea what Specialized is doing. The carbon Sirrus at least when I followed them from 2013 to now were fast, fairly light feeling bike. The one I saw does not feel like that at all to me. Its fairly heavy just from feel and has that touring bike feel to it. The big tires, narrow handlebars and the view from the seat all scream touring bike to me. I hope the most expensive Sirrus feel more sporty than this. From the 2014 Expert Disc to the 2015 one it feels like a VW GTI morphed into a Buick LeSabre. I am so glad I stuck with the 2014 Roubaix frame Sirrus instead of the 2015 fitness geometry.

those wheels are the same wheels that came on my friends carbon crux and they are straight tanks for wheels. I bet if you put some lighter wheels and some 28mm tires on them it would be pretty amazing if speed is what your looking for.

Also very happy with my sirrus/Roubaix 14' bike. Thinking off putting dropbars on it. Then it is a Roubaix! Bigger tires like 32mm then you have a Diverge(close) just love all the possibilites this Specialized Sirrus has given me! The first 1000miles has been really great!
