Rollers for Christmas, started slow but got it going now. Two half hour sessions yesterday with a steady 85 cadence. Big step up for me. Decided to not use my bike shorts while on the rollers so hopefully I'm toughening up the tender areas for some long treks, if winter ever ends lol!

I didn't know there was an off season, only different bikes and different clothing.

This unfortunately...I have an old Schwinn that stays on the trainer, so I don't wear out the components on my regular rides.

I'm in Northwest Arkansas as well. It's too cold out now so I'm collecting and buying parts for my new build :)

Rollers and the large stack of DVDs I have always meant to watch....

What is this "off season" of which you speak?

Neither did I, but that's only because location south Florida -- so its always riding season. At least when you consider there's no snow or ice to contend with.

Sure it gets cold now and then (tonight was the coldest: 44 degrees this season), but that just makes the ride a bit more challenging; and it only lasts for a night or two.
