Multiple Hand Position Handlebars like THESE?

I'm looking for handlebars shaped like these. Peep the link right quick.

Anyone seen anything like these that's still available? I think these handlebars would be great and I can't find anything like them. I don't need carbon fiber necessarily, just the additional position for the hands. And they look great and they're not drop bars.

Talk to me!

I mounted a set of bar ends on the inside of Salsa bars. Works great. gjmen

Here is a pic with the ESI grips.

Thanks, Dale, but these aren't quite what I want.

gjmen, I appreciate the advice and the pics. But neither of these options look anywhere near as clean as the Bontrager Satellite Elite Carbon Trekking Bars.

I wish I knew why they don't make these anymore. I'd love a pair of these in aluminum (I don't need carbon or the costs associated with it).

Errm, I should have thought that was obvious? Little to negligible demand = insufficient sales. No point in producing them.

I see what you mean Badger. Thanks for the lesson on supply and demand. Bummer. I still want these in aluminum though. Maybe they'll make 'em again some day. Until then, I guess I'll let this thread die off.

No snark intended, mate. It's actually unfortunate; those bars were a good option for someone looking for a kind of 'aerobar/flat bar' set-up in a single bar -- as you said above, they look "clean" compared to e.g. an H-Bar.

How about one of these... Expensive, but similar to what you asked about. In fact, I think I would prefer the sweep on these bars.

If I were to invest in one of these bars, I would opt for the uncut version since the extra section would provide a good mount point for a light or computer.

Jeff Jones' Loop Bars would be a viable alternative.

I use them on my 29er, and they're outstanding.

I'd like to see them come out with a version that's straighter, with less of a curve in the bar itself.

I'm going to see how the straight bar & bar ends work for me first, when I get my next bike, but if I feel even slightly unsatisfied, I'll be getting those Jones Handlebars, most likely the uncut 660mm version in aluminium.

These aren't as elegant, but they're only $60 and available.

They existed for sale, you just have to keep your line wet to catch one. Post in the ISO threads or marketplace forums. eBay has a daily search feature that will report any new items matching your search. You could do a Search Tempest or OneCraigs search and just make it a favorite and visit daily. If I knew how RSS worked, maybe that.

You'll have to go specific, I just tried searching and found that Satellite Elite name was used for a lot of components.

Failing that, put some barends inboard on a normal handlebar.
