Rollers and Carbon Wheels
Hello everyone
I am considering to purchase a pair of rollers, however I want to ride my “nice” road bike on them. Any issues I should be concerned about with the carbon wheels hitting the edge and causing damage? They are current gen hookless zipps.
For the rollers I was thinking to get either the tacx Galaxia or the elite quick motion, both of which have slight parabolic shaped rollers to help keep you centered.
thanks!

No issue. Your tyre will hit the edge, not your carbon rims. You're more likely to cause damage by crashing. 😂 (you likely won't crash)
I've got the Elite ones with the "parabolic" rollers and I think I've only tapped the edge once.

It takes less than 30 seconds to carefully unfold the rack, taking care not to get your fingers jammed in them.

I rode Kreiter Rollers for many years, but abandoned when I went Zwifting.
But I don't see any problem what so ever. Actually, may be better. With rollers, your wheels need to be as true as possible, otherwise you'll feel like you're riding on an endless bumpy road.
The only time I ever fell off was when I tried to change channels on my TV-pre remote control days. Dumb move.
One other thing: when you get to those old wooden plank bridges with the big gaps between the boards, you can tell who has ridden rollers over the winter!
