Hi all,

Just found this forum and decided to join. I have been riding recumbent road bikes for about 17 years and own a 1999 Vision VR44 short wheel base 2 wheeler with USS and a 2012 Catrike Expedition. All is good but I developed an arthritic hip 2 years ago that has cut down my mileage significantly. I recently pulled the trigger on a Bionx D Series 500 watt kit to install on my trike to reduce stress on my hip. Without the e-assist, the steep hills in western Mass have become problematic. I am really looking forward to getting back into the saddle this spring. :p
