Enjoying the ride
Thanks for letting me crash your party!
I'm a midwest, corn-fed guy who is built more like an offensive lineman than a cyclist, but I love the sport nonetheless. This biking season will be my third on the bike, and I'm hoping to graduate from a hybrid to a real road bike. I've learned quite a bit of information by lurking on the lists, so I'm already grateful to you all.

Welcome, Angus. I too am built more like an offensive lineman. In fact, I played defensive end in college. If you ever do graduate to a road bike, keep in mind that 36 spoke hand built wheels work much better for "real" men.
