Hello from Dallas, Texas
Hey guys and gals,
I stumbled across this site when looking for mountain biking information, and its fascinated me so far. I'm 18 now, and I've been out of riding for about 5 years mainly due to yrear round hockey. Now that the season is over, I'm looking to get into mountain/xc biking. When I was about thirteen I participated in a number of local road rallies, so I'm not totally new to biking. Right now I don't have a real rideable bike for anything off pavement. I've been looking around the forums such as the "$500 MTB thread" and have learned a lot in a few short days. Hopefully this site and some trails will lead to a nice MTB addiction...

Welcome to the forum!
When you get a bike and need trails in/near Dallas, check out the DORBA website. They list not only trails and directions to the trails, but continuous updates of trail conditions. At least they did last year - the last time i checked the site.
Good luck!!

Just checked the DORBA site. They still do all that stuff. Great place to look for your next bike, as well.
