Hello, hello, hello...
 

Hey all,

Name's Gaz. I live in Brooklyn, and just started commuting to Midtown Manhattan on my new Dahon Speed P8. About 7 or 8 years ago, I used to bike 10-15 miles a day (when I lived in Miami). I've been wanting to get back into bicycling for years, but was always deterred by the realities of New York City (any decent bike locked on the street has an excellent chance of being stolen). Now that I have a folder, I simply ride to work, fold, and bring it in the office. Perfect!

I have a cat named Sumi, and a dog who's lived with my parents and not me for several years (as I can't afford a dog walker) named Fern. Some interests: film, games, good beer, good wine, good food (hmmm... I wonder why I need to lose some weight...).

Glad that this forum exists, it's been really helpful for me so far.

I have a Bike Friday myself... I love that I can fold and go with no problems (especially when travelling!).
