Hello from Illinois, Ohio, and Texas!
Hey everyone, I would just like to say hello and introduce myself. I am a 21-year old newfound cyclist. Born and raised in Illinois, attending university in Ohio, and interning for the summer in Texas.
Growing up I competitively rode BMX and motocross, eventually putting the bike away for around the last 6 years. Last summer while working in Los Angeles, I picked up road cycling and haven't looked back since. Hoping to become an active member of this community, and looking forward to getting to know some of you!

Recently I have been riding a Bayou trail that starts off TC Jester/11th St. Is this a decent place? It's only about 16 miles total, so I am looking for something a bit longer

Sorry for the delay in my response, I have have a new internship down here in Houston and haven't been on BF frequently. As said, I am in the memorial area of Houston. Still looking for some good places to ride (safely! the roads down here are just too congested)
