Hi from DC area
Hi!
I'm new to the forum, but not new to biking.. Doesn't mean I"m any good at it!
Been biking on and off since I was a kid. Basically didn't ride from about 1983 to 2007. Then I got a Trek 7100 for recreational use. I'd go out a few weekends over the summer. That's still my only bike, but I"m more interested now in riding, hiking, etc. We have great trails around here.
I'm basically out of shape and overweight. Between that and not even being good at shifting gears appropriately, I've been shy about riding.
Anyway, I'm over that now. Going out with my spouse and some groups around here that would let slow beginners come.
I"m sure I'll be asking a lot of questions. See you around!
(PS, I'm a gal)
