Hello from Indiana
Hi everyone
I'm slowly getting back into bike riding. Just turned 55, currently riding a Diamondback Islander that my husband bought me over 10 years ago. The bike is too big for me (I'm barely only 5'1" tall) and starting to look at Trek Shift or Verve line for something that I can touch the ground when stopped. Just looking for something I can ride in comfort and some exercise. Only a couple of LBS's within a 50 mile radius, so I'm reading a lot of info on bikes till I make a drive to any shop to try them out.
I haven't had a favorite bike since I had my Schwinn Stingray Fairlady back in 1968. Loved that thing!

Thank you! Yes, that is my main goal: a good fit! I haven't had one since the '60's. Every bike that I have had since then has been a battle. I have never had a proper fitting. And to be honest, until I had started researching for my next bike, I had no idea that it was even done. Tells you how long it's been since I have been inside a LBS!
