Greetings to everyone from Houston, TX.

Hello All! Just getting into the world of bicycles. After my best friend got a bike, and my doctor told me I had to excercise more I decided to go out and buy my first road bike. I ended up test riding a lot of bikes and ultimately fell in love with a Fuji Sportif 1.0 LE. Loving the bike itself so far although its kind of difficult for me to get out and ride during the week so I'm limited to the weekends right now. I actually rode clipped in for the very first time yesterday! Hope to learn a lot from all of the more experienced riders on here. Cheers!

Get some good lights and ride when you have the time.

Welcome to Bikeforums. I live in Kingwood. Glad you are enjoying the bike and riding. Before I retired I rode in the evening after work. When daylight savings time ended I would ride the greenbelt trails beside the streets with a strong light. It is a different experience from daylight biking. Now that I am retired daytime riding is what I do. Check my website (see my signature below) for Texas biking news, events and my experiences.
