Hello everyone!
I picked up my first road cycle (Vintage steed) Bridgestone Radac RD-530, for just under $200. It was an awesome find and it's been a fantastic ride thus far.
I am going to be doing a rebuild/upgrade and I'm hoping that the knowledgeable members of this great forum, can assist me in my new endeavor. It will be my first time doing a build and I will for sure need a helping hand. I've searched a few threads here, concerning the Radac (which have been quite helpful- Thanks!) and have also made Sheldon Brown's website compulsory viewing.
Anyways, I will be starting a new thread, with lots of pictures, in the "Classic&Vintage" section, titled, "Radac Rebuild ZK".
Thanks for reading, have a great ride and stay safe!
Cheers,
ZK

@Johnny Mullet: Thank you for the warm welcome! By the way, how do you like the Huffy Techtra Lite? I did a quick search, it looks like a solid vintage road cycle. As well, it's quite aesthetically pleasing (I like the lines and angles).

@obed7 Thank you for the kind greeting!
I must say, you have a very nice stable (Giant Propel and KHS AeroComp). I'm quite interested to hear the first person perspective, on the Giant Propel. How are the ergonomics and what's your favorite thing about riding this machine?
As well, the KHS Aero Comp has a stunning frame, love that seat tube curve.

The Propel is also a lot of fun to ride, it is quick and responsive...it is a bike you pay attention to, it is not a bike to go for a sunday ride with the wife and kids... it is actually more comfortable than I was expecting...when going for longer rides I still prefer my Domane.

The KHS I "renovated" with ultegra 6800 just because I like the look of the bike, but it is actually a lot of fun to ride, it does not accelerate as quickly as the Propel but once up to speed you do not notice the weight of the bike.
