Greetings from Yuba City, CA

I used to be heavy into cycling but since I got married decades ago had to forgo any extra curricular activities.

Things have slowed down and I'm looking into starting again. I have two old bikes, a Nishiki International and a Schwinn Supersport. The Nishiki and Schwinn are both vintage...sometime in the late 70's or early 80's.

I want to clean and start using them again. My wife wants to sell them at a garage sale for fifty each. I feel they are worth much more and spending 100 each to bring them back is worth it.

Any comments, suggestions, recommendations?

Love riding around the Sutter Buttes. Yuba City has some great riding there.

I found this old thread for you to check out:

Note: NOS = New Old Stock, a common term in collecting of various forms.

Does Yuba City still have the Prune Festival or have that celebration of the local famous fruit dried up.
