not quite a fixie rider, from minneapolis
hello! i'm Mara, 23yo in minneapolis. started working on bikes a bit more recently, i have a marin hybrid/commuter bike but i've always wanted something vintage... and recently i came across a sekai 2500
planning on painting it and for some reason i really want to try a 2x1 setup, meaning a single speed wheel with just a front derailleur and the 2 original chainrings.... i've seen it done with a good chain tensioner..... tho i should probably learn some basic maintenance before trying stuff like this
oh and yes i am gay trash and i take great pride in that aesthetic
glad to be here!

Welcome! 2x1 with a chain tensioner is a pretty simple set-up; should be good for learning basic maintenance. Give a shout if you run into problems!
