Hi from Queens
Hi. I'm newly relocated to Queens (as in NYC) and am looking to meet other riders who want to ride on weekends. I used to do fairly long rides, a couple of decades ago, from Manhattan up to Rockland County and elsewhere. I want to get back into it now but don't know any riders near me (in the Flushing area of Queens).
At the time, I was a B+/A- rider and would do 50 - 80 mile rides as well as a century or two, but am not in that kind of shape now. Not yet anyway.
BTW, I'm in the market for a used road bike. I used to have a pretty nice one for those Rockland rides, but these days have been riding a folder for utilitarian rides. It's good for those uses, but not for longer rides.
Thanks,
David
