Hey everyone. New to the Tulsa area and getting used to the heat.

Small time bike enthusiast here. glad I found this forum. I have been reading a lot so far.

My main TT/Tri bike is a 1999 cannondale multisport 2000. I got 3rd in my age group last sunday in a duathlon and 2nd two weeks ago in a tri. Ill be doing a half ironman in september on it.

I have a '97 R800 cannondale that is currently getting all new 11spd ultegra group parts. Currently the quill stem is stuck in the dang thing so its hanging upside down soaking in PB blaster. I picked up a set of RS31 shimano wheels for it.

My main mountainbike is a 1998 F400 Cannondale that I want to update. Being a lower end bike it has a rock shock on it from the factory vs. a headshock. I keep my eyes out for 26er parts most of the time for it.

Also, I have my first road bike a 1980 chrome yoyaguer 11.8 that needs some refurbishing in the que as well.

attached some pics for fun

I ended up adding a quill adaptor and going through a couple stems getting the bars closer to me and a little closer to the height of the seat. I started having back problems. I guess im not as young as I was in college. The red and grey jersey is how the bike sits right now. It used to not bother me but ehh.

Welcome to the Forums .

Have you gotten a chance to check out Turkey Mountain yet? If you're looking for group rides, like Lee's Bicycles/Trek of Tulsa on facebook because they announce rides starting at either Lee's in downtown or their "Peloton Center" down on Riverside all of the time.

I went once and got lost in there on some pretty difficult terrain. I was upside down and bleeding pretty fast! haha definitely need to head out with a group.

I ride mainly with the TAT - Tulsa Area Triathlete club and the Runners World group on the road. Open water swims and runs too.
