How is it going guys, Name is David. 35 and live in Raleigh, NC. Previous owner of a Trek 4500 that I have had forever 15 good years or so. Put a good 12000 miles on it. Decided to go more of a road style bike. Just purchased a Fuji tread 1.1. Looking forward to getting a lot of tips from you guys as I would like to start training to small local races and rides 50-75 miles or so.

Welcome aboard! You'll find lots of like minded souls in the road cycling forum, and if you're looking for race/training advice the racing forum can't be beat.

thanks a lot! I've had the bike a week. Have rode about 30 miles total. Fell once getting use to the clip pedal system.

welcome to the forums...did the fall down when stopping thing 3 times when I first started, and always when people were watching me....

Luckily I have only fell a few times and no one was there to see the graceful falls. lol
