New To Everything - DC / NoVa area
Hello folks,
Thanks for taking the time to read this... I'm so glad that I found this website and forum!
I just moved into the city from the beach and had only ridden my faithful beach cruiser in a relaxed manner before getting here in the DC area (I already sold the cruiser). When I got here a couple of weeks ago, I've been able to borrow my brother's new Kona cyclocross bike and experience speed and power for the first time. NOW I realize why the bike world is so fascinating and exciting beyond casual cruising around. I'm shopping for my budget starter bike now, and I look forward to working my way up in knowledge and experience.

Welcome to Bike Forums. You will want to post your inquiries in our Classic and Vintage forum. If you want a price appraisal on a vintage bike, post about it in our Classic & Vintage Appraisals forum.
I am just shy of 6' tall and those first two bikes would be too small for me.
