Hello, from Northern Michigan, near Traverse City. Never really was into bikes growing up cause none fit well. Currently wanting to get a bike/restore one.

Hey there Soarin! Building/restoring a bike is a really great way to learn. Check and see if there is a bike coop near you. Great access to space, tools and parts with knowledgeable folks to ask questions of in real time. Also the folks here have been mostly friendly and informative.
