Finally getting back into biking - southern Wisconsin
Hey, everyone! Finally decided to stop lurking and introduce myself.
After a multi-year hiatus, I'm getting back into cycling - primarily to get back into shape, but I also really enjoy it. A couple of months ago, I got my old Trek 6000 MTB back in usable condition. I purchased a set of used Ritchey wheels in good condition and added a set of new tires. Other than new grips, seat and a couple of cables, most everything else was a matter of cleaning, adjusting and lubricating. I think it looks pretty good for its age!
Next step is a bike upgrade. I'm thinking probably a cross or touring setup so I can use wider tires (I ride on a gravel rail trial frequently).
