Howdy from down South Boys and Girls...

Another Neophyte here. New to this forum anyways. Been riding on and off for several years, both mountain and road. Basically a weekend warrior / old fart. Trying to become more serious, but we shall see. Living in the 'burbs of Atlanta, anticipating the upcoming warm weather. What else??? Uhhhhh, I once went out drinking with Robert Mitchum. So I got that going for me.....

Hello from another Atlanta pedal pusher. There are a number of us here from Atlanta, some from the eastern suburbs and other scattered about. Have you thought about riding to work?

Watch how you use that "old fart" expression around here. I'm 60 years old, commute by bike, and also a weekend warrior.

Welcome from another older fart who lives in the Atlanta area (southside). I ride both mtb and road bikes. I spend some time on the SCT when I want to relax and just pedal without having to watch for cars, etc. My mtb is usually on the paths of Peachtree City (good organized Saturday morning ride), Dausett Trails, or around my neighborhood.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.... work, baby, moving and visiting in-laws have eaten up my time. To answer all at once - yup I've thought about riding to work. As a matter of fact, we recently moved to be closer to work. I'm 1 mile, so it will be a quick ride. Just need to find a decent commuter as the mtb is too heavy and the road bike is set up strictly for speed. I spent many an hour running and biking the SCT, I lived in Vinings so it was great. Once things settle down I'd love to find a close group to ride with on the east side. Hopefully in the next month or so. And I use the term "old fart" gingerly... I promise!

I'm a young fart I guess, and in the atlanta area. Midtown to be somewhat percise. Keep the pedals pushing.

There are lots of rides and lots of riders on the east side of town. Many folks head out to Stone Mtn and do a few laps. Maybe I run into you on the way out or back.
