New to the biking scene.
Hello everyone!
My name is Mike and my trail name is refrigerator, my friends call me fridge. It's a nick name you pick up hiking the long distance trails as I'm a triple crowner. I'm here to learn from all of you. I've been guiding backpacking expeditions in Alaska and remote areas of the lower 48 states for 35 plus years now and retiring. Now I'm wanting to pick up where I left off as a youngin and bike across the US. A new adventure and dream as I've trekked all over the country and in need to continue my love for the outdoors and I couldn't think of anything better to do with my retirement than to ride across the country and feel and see this great nation of ours.
I have questions many of them but first I'll take a look at the archives for information so I'm not asking a redundant question. I'm excited about this and very serious about my dream. Thank you for allowing me to join in what looks like the best informative biking forum out there.
Thank you.
Mike M
