Bike Forums - Central IL newbie

Good afternoon, I found this site while looking for information about a 1980s Bianchi I recently purchased.

For the last few years I have been collecting balloon tire bicycles but rarely rode them, late this spring My wife and I started watching what we are and began walking together, by August I had lost enough weight that we started riding a ride bike. I picked up a 1992 Schwinn Paramount 9C with Shimono 600 group. The bike workes well, while at a auto swap meet I found the Celeste green Bianchi .
The bike was purchased from the original owner and is in amazing condition, I have yet to ride it.

A couple of weeks ago I picked up a new old stock Litespeed C1r with SRAM Force group and SRAM gold wheels sets. - a hotrod

Fall is upon us here in IL and the riding season is coming to the end but over the last few months we started with 5 mile rides but are now up to 20-25 miles a few days a week.
