Hi, I recently bought for $50 a sad looking Greg Lamond Tourmalet, and did a bit of online research as I am going to refurbish it. Didn't realise that it was such a big deal. So hi.

welcome to the can be as big a deal as you want it to want it serviceable it is not as big a deal as if you want it restored to original. Either can be fun, you choose which is the fun you want. I took an old aerocomp and completed it with modern components. It made me happy, the purists not so much.

Welcome to Bike Forums Amedeo,

Hope you take some pics of the bike as you make progress with it.
