Good Morning from Lansing, Michigan

Hello!

Started commuting to work by bike again since I moved closer to work.

Joined this forum to catch up on information, specifically the new LED headlights and tail lights.

Been commuting every day for about a month now, enjoying every ride.

Feel lots better in shape, and also feel that my temperature tolerance is improving. That helps with the outdoor activities that I also enjoy.

I also think that my personal outlook is better. Lots more positive and cheerful.

Dusted off the vision re***bent and the cannondale R300. Both are in excellent shape and were ready to roll.

Also have a fuji MTB with a beach trailer that was not put in storage over the last ten years.

My other hobbies are power kite flying, the outdoors, and competitive shooting. I think that the mental requirements from cycling will translate to higher scores on the firing line in both 4 position smallbore and NRA bullseye pistol shooting. Will keep you guys updated.

Tuesday have a job interview for a promotion at work. Have confidence from the recent physical activity and mental stimulation from cycling such that I should nail that new position!

Regards,
Crankster

Love the quote at the bottom. I'm in Oregon and a lot of people here tend to do "Rain? No way!" and stay inside.

I quoted it from a very wise cyclist on here after asking about riding in the rain. Some do, some don't.
