New older dude here, Eastern Mass.

60-ish dude, going back to recreational biking on local fun bike paths.

(Spouse and) I got new Cannondale Adventure 3, their basic comfort bike, and we will take it from here. I suspect I will put more riding time than her...

My first shakedown ride was yesterday, 12 miles on the "Cape Cod Rail Trail", and I had a blast!

The forum will be helpful with a few technical questions about upgrade or maintenance, and indeed, I already nailed a question about saddle mounting!

Ride on (safely).

Rode west from Nickerson Park to just past Long Pond, and back to starting point, a tad under 12 mi. overall.

Condition: Fine, no debris or anything on the trail.
