What is better than being a kid with a bike?
Hi!
I've loved bicycles as long as I can remember. Whats more fun than being a kid and exploring with your friends on a bike?
Mainly been using bicycles for utility for past ~20 years though. Recently got into riding for fun in the SF Bay Area (from Ireland originally though).
Been riding a 1980 Miyata 912 which I got in January after my 1970s Raleigh Gran Sport frame cracked on a ride (had it set up as a fixed gear). Enjoying long rides in the hills on the Miyata so much I'm thinking to treat myself to a Motobecane Le Champion Ti SL (Ultegra groupset) for recreational rides :-)
I like vintage bikes, interesting bikes, new bikes, beer, etc. Not super serious about biking or myself, just want to have fun & stay fit. I also do some powerlifting - biking is a nice addition to get some cardio in.
