Bike cop
Hey folks! I am a police cyclist, the senior instructor in police cycling for my department, and certified through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA) as a public safety cycling instructor. I have been riding mountain bikes for almost 25 years, and road bikes for the last two or three years.

Welcome Preacher377 to bikeforums.
Do you do bike patrols? I would think a mtb cop might work for an environmental police force rather than a regular type police station? Please explain how you patrol using mtb's, or do you use them due to weight of your gear?
Either way, welcome to our forums, I'm sure you have some stories to share.
