The next new guy
Hey ya'll! From Georgia. 42 years young.
I had a shoulder injury that set me back from my normal hard charging self for about a year.
I was in need to get back in shape or a different shape I was in. I have several friends who said I should get a bike, so here I am.
Been riding off and on for several months. Decided to take the plung and sign up for a 66 mile charity in Fl. Can't wait!
Looking forward to learning us much as I can about training and the sport in general.

Welcome to Bike Forums. Its a charity ride. Its not a race. There will be LOTS of other riders. You'll see folks on road bikes, hybrids, mtn bikes, recumbents and maybe a tandem or two and possibly a few trikes. Just keep up the training and you'll do fine.
Stop by the Southeast regional subforum and say hello. You may find that a few locals folks will be there with you.
