Chris Robinson
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris Robinson and I'm from Rural Retreat, VA. I found this forum while searching the web for information regarding bicycles. I'm 37 and haven't been on a bicycle for about 20 years! I have an a son who'll be 8 in July and I wanted to start riding with him.
My area is rural and we have some very nice trails close at hand like the New River Trail & Virginia Creeper Trail. Plus, we're close to Mt.Rogers which has lot's of great biking. So, I'm looking for a mountain bike.
I'll be posting lots of questions so thanks in advance for all of your help and support!
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris, I have ridden both the New River Trail and the Virginia Creeper. One thing you can consider is talking to the people in Damascus at the bike shop (I think it is called Adventure Damascus). They have many different rental bikes that you can try on the Virginia Creeper before you actually make a decision.
