Hi: My name is Harvey Hyman. I live and work in Oakland, CA. I road bike on my own and with the Oakland Yellow Jackets club. I do several charity rides each year. I belong to the Alameda County Safe Kids Coalition. We put on Bike Rodeos for kids, at which we teach cycling safety, pass out free helmets and teach kids and their parents how to properly fit and fasten their helmets. I have a solo law practice devoted to personal injury cases, including bicycle accidents. My cycling law website is located at I look forward to chatting with people in the Safety & Advocacy Section of this group. I noticed that I already know some of the people taking part in discussions about S&A, including Alan Wachtel, an urban bike route planner and cycling safety expert who really knows his stuff. Harvey
