Hi folks. I'm new to the forum and am getting back in the saddle again since I got my first car 20 years ago. I'm 40 now and am overweight with a host of health problems including diabetes. Riding a bike is the only way I can get myself to exercise. Something about the wind in my hair. I don't have a fancy thousand dollars bike, but what I do have is just right for me. I just put some slicks on it because I stay on the roads, whoooaaa baby best thing I ever did besides fathering a child. I have so many questions.

Me too, but 50 and no baby here tho.

Lots of us are overcoming health issues by cycling, welcome to the forum, and to the cycling world. Don't worry about the bike you have, just enjoy the rides and the fact that you are getting better health as you ride the miles away.
