Bike Forums - new to biking

from Bartlesville Okla and new to riding. Wife used to like riding casual mountain bikes mainly on paved roads back 25 years ago. I never really rode much. She has a rare heart condition that over last 12 years has really limited her and was to point we just got her an electric mobility scooter if she was going to be on feet more than 30 min at a time. Specialist just had her get a pace maker and it has helped a lot. Don't know how long this will work but she now can walk and wanted to ride again casual. Just bought her a new Trek Cari 5 over labor day weekend which is way better than 25 years ago trek she had and she loves it. She says i got to go and ride with her for fun casual. so Tuesday i went and test drove all the models and i picked the DS4 trek. ordered it and it should be in Friday. Hope i picked the right one. I also used to have a trek 25 years ago mountain mike same as wife but really didn't ride much. These new bikes are unreal. Hopefully i enjoy and the wife wants to take to other places and ride different trails across the area casually.
