New Here and Hello!

Hello all!
I have been around bicycles for a long time. My kid has also road raced. We have a small collection of bikes, with a few older ones in the mix.
My boy and I are having built up a couple of retro bikes, which brought me to pull out my old, but cherry '83 (apprx) Super Mondia. Holy smokes!
I'll probably frequent the classic forums studying up and maybe showing off a couple of my bikes.
Googling old race bikes (inspiring our retro bikes build) brought me here - thanks google! ;-)
Cheers to all aficionados!

Thanks.
I also have an old Peugeot, Raleigh, Bianchi cyclo cross, along with a more modern bike or two.
Anything that gets ridden has Speedplay Frog pedals on it.

Thanks gentlemen. I am amazed at the knowledge many have here regarding old bikes, and components.
I have a 70-72 Peugeot which I will post up sometime. I feel its close to a PX10 (?) but I haven't really got into it.
I have been sitting on it for 20 years. Its been out of any weather the whole time.
I know it came with sew up wheels (wired & soldered where the spokes cross), and a Simplex derailleur, plus nice cranks...
Story has it, the original owner finished college and toured across Europe on it before starting his career.
I will have many Q's with it...

I posted my sweet Mondia up in the vintage bike thread.
Cheers!

Welcome. I took a look at your Mondia. Very nice! You've kept it in great shape.

I posted up my mid 90's Russian Raleigh in the vintage thread - not sure if that bike applies.

Here is what I am currently riding. A Masi cyclo-cross retro road bike.

My kid and I are currently building up a Bianchi & Masi retro modern, Veloce equipped road bikes. They are a month or two out...
