Welcome to Bike Forums willfox23.

But, you posted your question in our Introductory forum which is where you are supposed to only tell us a bit about yourself.

I suggest asking your paint question in our Mechanics forum. Bicycle Mechanics - Bike Forums

One can would be ok if you don't use primer or a clear coat Not to mention a can of stripper. My last project took stripper 1 can of primer 2 cans of colour and so far 1 can of clear gloss.

Welcome to Bike Forums. You can also ask in the General Cycling Discussion forum.
Good luck. Don't let the paint run.
