Greetings from VA
Greetings from a 50-something cyclist who's recently returned after a surgery-occasioned break (the catalyst being DC Metro's SafeTrack program - learned that I could cycle to work as fast as public transit (or faster)).
Cycle the 10 miles to work more often than not, and typically a weekend cycle with my better half.
My rides are a '91 Aquila Pavé (an aluminum cyclo-cross(ish)-framed beast) and a 2006 Trek 520.

Welcome,
I moved a couple years ago from Alexandria and spent 20 years commuting at least part of the time. It look a little longer but I was so much more productive at work.
You'll find lots of good information and support here.

Hello exp, and welcome! I'm glad your medical issue has not affected your cycling. This is a great site.

Welcome aboard, you'll have good company here, many of us have had to do the surgical "leave of absence" from cycling. Glad to have you join in here with us.
