New from San Diego

Hi All,

I am Joel and I ride in San Diego mostly. I used to ride a lot in the PNW in the 1990s. I am also starting to collect a few bikes and am really enjoying the different rides that they give. I've been riding DeRosas since the early to mid 1980s and have just started to branch out. I really like this forum and am looking forward to the education and camaraderie that is present. I'm nearly 58 and am still going strong.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard Joel, great to have you decide to join in with us here at BF. You should drop by the Southern California Regional Forum, as well, and introduce yourself there, also. Lots of SoCal members here, you can connect with some great folks in your area.

Looks like the bloody Torrey Pines grade. Funny thing, I was riding with the UC Cyclery group a while back and the ride had this climb near the end of the ride. While I was going up, I saw a guy in his driveway washing a very large (Aren't they all) elephant. I still to this day am not sure if I was hallucinating or not. Sure looked real to me... or should I say surreal.

Thanks,

Joel
