Hello from Stafford, Va.

Hello All! Started riding again about two years ago but unfortunately fell out of it after a motorcycle accident. Want to get back into it. Want to lose a few pounds and just get in better shape. Ultimate goal is to try riding cross country after I retire in a few years.

Welcome aboard Carl, too bad about the motorcycling accident. Smart choice to restart your cycling, its one of the best means of rehabbing following an injury. Lots of us here have used the sport to regain our fitness, and get back into the flow of things, following injuries or health issues.

Same here, I'm moving from motorcycles into bicycles. Takes up much less room in my kitchen

Welcome to Bike Forums. Glad you joined us. If you're retiring in a few years I'm guessing you're over 50. Stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the other old timers. I hang out there. I'll be 72 in another 7 days.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still into motorcycles, way to much fun to give up. I have two other touring bikes, GoldWing and ST1300. GoldWing is Momma's bike, I'm just the chauffer. I totaled my baby, 1999 Honda ST1100, still makes me sick to my stomach when I think about it. RonH, Happy Birthday!!!!!! I just turned 60.
