Hey from across the pond

Hi all,

A quick intro from myself as I might be hanging around here a bit.

50 year old male from the UK living in Blackpool.
Been an avid cyclist for many years , mostly for pleasure, took a break for twelve months with knee issues but back in the saddle on a hybrid and looking to trim the fat.

Also picked up an old dunelt which I am going to restore and hopefully ride so will be hanging around for a while.

Thank you

Welcome! There is a thread dedicated to English 3-speed bicycles here. My adult cycling avocation started with an Austrian made J.C. Higgins 3-speed. I have since expanded to road bicycles, a hybrid with Nokian tires for winter, a recumbent, a hardtail mountain bike... One of the best old 3-speeds that I had was a Dunelt, hence my user name.
Nice to meet you.

That Dunelt sounds really cool! Here's to gaining knowledge and losing weight!

I hope you'll hang around a while. I stopped by here in 2001 and never left.
Stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the other old timers. I'm 72 y/o and hang out there.

I find that cycling really helps the knee and delays the replacement op
