Here's the answer to your question.

How to gain access to Politics and Religion forum.
All registered members are able to view the posts in P&R, but in order to actively participate, you will need to be granted access to post. The only requirement we actually have is 30 days post history and a minimum of 50 posts in the cycling forums since lounge posts don't count toward post count.

Please remember that discussions about politics and/or religion often get heated, as these are issues that most people hold differing views on. If conversations cannot be kept civil, then access will be restricted. It's ok to disagree so feel free to do so but respectfully. Your point of view is important to you just as theirs is important to them. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

If you do not have access, but want to post in here, then go ahead and contact either myself, no1mad or BillyD via Private Message.

Please be aware that if you have been a member of Bike Forums for less than a month, you will need to ask again for access in a month or so. We also look at post histories. This forum is for members of Bike Forums - people who are cyclists, who contribute and participate in the cycling-related forums, but also wish to discuss non-cycling issues with other cyclists. It's an extra benefit and a privilege, not a standard part of this forum's package.

Hi Rick and welcome.

While your waiting for your keys to the to the the den of iniquity they call P&R you might post about something of local interest to you.

After that, search Montana, for other not quite P&R threads that might be of local interest.

Those should keep you busy and help get the thread count up, then go to places like Touring, where you could help folks thinking of visiting your state. Time will fly and P&R will still be there if you're still interested.
