MPLS Lurker out of the shadows

Hey all,

I've been reading the C&V forums for a while and wanted to join the conversation. I'm a grad student in mechanical engineering at U of M and enjoy tinkering with old bikes and mountain biking at metro trails.

Where are you from? Minneapolis via Bozeman, MT and Chicago
What do you ride? 1971 Fuji Finest, 2009 Hifi Pro
How long have you been riding? 25(?) years

Thanks! The top end Fuji frames from the early 70's were fully hard chromed at the factory and then painted over. The original owner stripped the paint off to expose the chrome.
