I miss riding!
Hey everyone, I'm Rachel. In 2012, my car died and I ended up moving closer to work and buying a bike so I could become a commuter, even though I hadn't been on a bike since I was a kid. I learned a lot about cycling and loved it and even did a long distance trip in 2013. (1700 miles from New Mexico to Michigan.)
Unfortunately, I've been dealing with chronic illness for the last couple of years and can no longer ride like I used to, but I'm wanting to get back onto my bike a little this summer. Cycling just makes me so happy and I miss it!
Hopefully, I'll start feeling better in the next couple years and will once again be able to do some bike traveling. Until then, I'll enjoy reading the forums and living vicariously through you all!

Hi, welcome! I hope you will manage to get back on your bike soon! You might want to check out the adaptive cycling section. Some of the guys there are amazing.

Welcome to BF Rachel, I hope you can find a way to stick at it, I know exactly what you mean, I couldn't imagine a life without regular cycling. Just take it easy is all I'd say, regular moderate rides are better than no rides hey.
