Hello
I'm new here. Looking at picking up a second hand road bike since mine had parts stolen from it (and the value to replace the parts would be far greater than value of the frame)

Welcome!! Sorry about your parts being stolen, that really sucks. I see bikes stripped in front of my work all the time. The bikes are locked up so what I see is the frame and the crank and that's it!! Hoping that you find a bike that's right for you and that nobody messes with it.

Thank you all. Luckily the bike that was looted wasn't incredibly high value. It was just my first road bike, it fit me really well and was a lot of fun to ride. It was a hiten 1020 steel frame so I guess it gives me an excuse to get a 4130 frame. I was somewhat surprised they took the crank set and chain rings but nothing else, the front tire and brakes were an easy take. Maybe there was someone coming and they got squirrely
