Hi! I'm riding a Peugeot P8 and hoping to ride my Dave Quinn.
My Name is Brandon and I've just got into vintage bikes. Stumbled into owning a p8 with a swiss bottom bracket and a did a whole of surface work. New handlebars, lathed down threadless quill stem so I could put some crazy bars on it. An old fashioned bottle dynamo light with new led in the head. Some snakeskin metal fenders and some other little touches. It's been so fun working on it that I jumped into another project right away!
I found a Dave Quinn racing bike made with reynolds 531. Got it for $50 only to find it's too small for me!
that's been my journey so far. This forum has helped me immensely in my searchings and finding of solutions.
you guys all rock.

You'll have to check out classic and vintage and post some pics of your bikes there. Welcome to BF.

Welcome! I love old Peugeots. Even the early-80s Swiss-threaded ones. I just build up an '82 Mixte for my girlfriend and she loves it. Luckily I haven't had to do anything with the bottom bracket.
