Greetings
Hello everybody,
New to the sport, new to the crew. I've been on a heck of a fitness journey in which I've lost quite a bit of weight and got myself in shape. I've focused mainly on running and strength training, but I've always wanted to ride a road bike strive to get good enough to ride in a race or 2.
I picked up my first bike a 16 Caad12 and have been enjoying the ride and learning (boy, is there a lot to learn about this sport). Glad to find a new online forum. Looking forward to learning more from all of you.
I haven't been on any group rides yet, Im just riding solo getting comfortable with things and will look forward to finding a group to ride with soon.

Welcome to bikeforums! Glad to see you have the cycling bug
. As a road and track racer, for now I'd encourage you to ride as much as possible and maybe join up with some local club rides that advertise themselves as beginner-friendly. See you on the road!
